Edinburgh's Telford College was based on four sites with a total area of 38,200 square metres. The property strategy reduced the college gross internal area to 26,750 square metres and consolidated its operation onto a single campus. The feasibility of this strategy was modelled using our space modelling system. The defined teaching room profile supported the preparation of timetables prior to the new building.
Stellae's contribution to the planning of the new college campus has been vital .... space modelling made possible a 30% reduction in the college area.... consultations with staff ensured general acceptance of planned teaching facilities.... the teaching and learning on the new college campus endorses the accuracy of the modelling process.... The financial benefits have been gratifying.

Richmond Adult Community College commissioned Stellae to undertake a space utilisation survey and space modeling project as part of its new build project.
Stellae's focused and uncompromising approach to this consultancy has resulted in highly detailed data analyses which have had an immediate value for timetabling and deploying space and resources more effectively and efficiently, as well as for projecting realistic space and resource requirements for the new build.
It was a pleasure to work with such a professional and competent company and I would recommend their work to any organisation that needs to take better control of their space and resource deployment.

Coleg Gwent is the largest college in Wales accounting for 10% of the nation's futher education students. The complex college estate extends across 5 widely dispersed sites. The consultancy has audited space utilisation levels, modelled the possible reduction of existing site capacities and prepared room profiles to enable the replacement of college sites.
Stellae's contribution to the development of Coleg Gwent's Estate Strategy, and subsequently to the planning of individual major projects, has been invaluable in ensuring optimum space and financial efficiency. Their expertise within the sector is renowned and the support they have provided to the College in this often complex area has always been professional and sound.

Peterborough Regional College is embarking on a major campus redevelopment. Stellae were appointed to undertake a detailed analysis of our current space utilisation and to work with us to determine our space needs in our new building. Through this analysis we were able to clearly identify our teaching space requirements and this work has informed the internal arrangements of our building design. The output produced by Stellae has been most useful; they were highly professional, knowledgeable, gave excellent advice and responded quickly to a tight project timescale. We would definitely use Stellae again to undertake our space modelling work.

We worked with Stellae on our capital project to consolidate the college onto one campus. Their understanding of space needs and LSC methodology is excellent, extensive and unrivalled. They do like detail, sometimes to a painful degree, but the results are worthwhile.
Matthew Westmore, Director of Estates & Facilities
Harrow College, June 2008
The Stellae team understood our timetabling system and planned course provision. The defined space requirements were detailed and accurate. It was particularly useful when discussions were required with the funding body that the consultants were able to present a clear, coherent and persuasive argument to support our estate plans, The services of the consultancy team are recommended.
